Itinerary

Our driver will pick you up at 0700 Hrs from your Nairobi Hotel, then drive to Ol Pejeta through central Kenya Highlands, a 30min stop over at Equator crossing Viewpoint for photography. Equator is an imaginary line that divides the earth into 2 hemispheres: north and south. There is a big sign where you will be able to take a photo saying you are now crossing the equator then proceed with the journey through Nanyuki Town to arrive in your camp/lodge in time for lunch. In the evening you will depart for a game viewing drive in the conservancy. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at the camp/lodge.
Dinner and Overnight stay at Comfort gardens camp or similar

On this day, explore the conservancy with morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch will be served at the camp. Olpejeta is a privately owned conservancy, overlooking the peaks of Mount Kenya. The conservancy has a great number of wildlife including all the big five animals (elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, and buffalo) among other game. The conservancy also has a special sanctuary that shelters several the rare and endangered species including black rhino, Gravy’s zebra, the Jackson’s hartebeest, and Chimpanzees. The Chimpanzee Sanctuary is the only place to see the chimps in Kenya and learn about the day-to-daycare of this wildlife including how they are fed. It is a home for orphaned and abused chimpanzees, rehabilitating them to help them learn to live by themselves as in their own habitat.
The afternoon can be spent visiting the blind black Rhino, Baraka. You
also have an option of going down the nature trail (guided by the rangers) and have close
encounters with the behavior of mammals and birds.

Have an early morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. After breakfast, check out and depart for Nairobi to arrive at around 4 p.m. and our driver will
drop you at your hotel/airport.
