Bomas of Kenya

The tour takes you through attractive and interesting exhibits of traditional homesteads of several Kenyan communities complete with their inhabitants. The homesteads reflect the truly traditional architecture of the Kenyan people. They were created to promote Kenyan culture, in the afternoon enjoy the rich traditional music accompanied by dance at this cultural center, then take a guided tour of the different bomas. The word Bomas is a Swahili word meaning homestead. Paradise lost (Kiambu Caves)

Depart from Nairobi City and drive to the wonderful picnic site in Kenya. it is home of the 2.5 years Old Stone Age caves, trees thought to be hundreds of years old while the river reeds have stories to tell. There are nature trails which led to silver cut water fall (about 10m long). Activities include feeding the Maasai Ostrich, watching many bird species about 82 species followed by a tour of the 600 acres coffee farm, horse riding. Other activities are fishing for Black bass and Tilapia and also boat riding.

Giraffe Centre

Giraffe Center, an educational centre and part of African Fund for Endangered Wildlife conservations. The park has a small herd of Rothschild Giraffe which are endangered species and you will get a chance to feed them. Other animal here includes; warthogs and Variety of bird life.

Karen Blixen Museum

Karen Blixen Museum is located on the outskirts of Nairobi on Karen road. Its history dates back to 1914, during the First World War, with the arrival of Karen Blixen from Denmark. At the foot of Ngong Hills, Karen Blixen established herself as a farmer. After her departure in 1931, the suburbs retained the commemorative home of Karen. This is the beautiful farmhouse where Karen Blixen, author of “Out of Africa”, lived between 1914 and 1931, until she left Kenya after a series of personal tragedies
