Itinerary

After breakfast depart, from Nairobi in the morning, drive along Mombasa road via Emali to Amboseli National Game Park which is a plain on the northern base of Mt. Kilimanjaro -the highest mountain in Africa. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain underground and resurface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Lunch enroute and then proceed into the Amboseli game park in the afternoon viewing a variety of wild life on our way.

After breakfast depart with packed lunch, for a whole day game drive in the park morning in the Amboseli in the park. Some wildlife to be seen includes; elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches and other birds and Masai giraffes in the background of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

After breakfast, drive via Namanga border town and Arusha to Lake Manyara. Arusha is the safari capital of Tanzania and also the headquarters of the East African Community. Lunch enroute. Lake Manyara national park has a very scenic setting bordered to the west by the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara has an abundance of birdlife and hippos while its tree-climbing lions are rather elusive.

Have an early game-drive in L. Manyara followed by breakfast in your lodge. Then proceed to Serengeti National Park viewing game enroute. The Park boarders Masai Mara in Kenya to the north and largely shares the same eco system. Serengeti National Park is the largest and also most popular park in Tanzania.

After an early game drive, get to the lodge for breakfast, then leave for a full day drive in Serengeti plains with packed lunch. We get deep in the heart of this famous migration corridor, with its wide-open spaces, bright blue skies and creature-filled landscape. Wildlife in the park includes prides of lions which laze in the long grasses, herds of elephants feeding on acacia bark, giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, eland and others. After lunch, have an afternoon game drive until sunset.

After early morning breakfast, we proceed to Ngorongoro Crater via Olduvai Gorge with a picnic lunch. We view game enroute. Ngorongoro Crater is said to be one of the largest calderas in the world and animals likely to be seen include lions, elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, gazelles, zebras, reedbucks, black rhinos and flamingoes. Olduvai Gorge is a canyon about 50 km long known for its pre-historic findings.

After breakfast,have a Morning Ngorongoro Crater tour and after lunch proceeds to Tarangire National Park. The park has a permanent water source and you are guaranteed of enormous herds and excellent game viewing including cheetah, lion, leopard and hyena and a herd of 3,500 elephants. The park is also host to a number of rare species including eland, oryx, kudu and gerenuk.
